In the TCL 50 series, the company launched the TCL 50 XE NxtPaper smartphone in June 2024. It is powered by a 6nm Mediatek Dimensity 6100+ chipset with support for an octa-core CPU and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The phone offers a single Space Blue colour and the phone runs on Android 14 operating system. In terms of memory and storage, the device is available for purchase with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage while there is a microSDXC card slot. The display has a 6.56-inch IPS LCD panel, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 720 x 1612 pixels resolution.

In terms of camera quality, the TCL 50 XE NxtPaper offers a 50MP primary lens, a 5MP ultrawide, and there is a 2MP depth lens as well. As for the selfie section, you get an 8MP lens that can record decent photos and 1080p videos at 30fps. The TCL 50 XE NxtPaper houses a 5010mAh battery that supports 18W wired charging. As for the price, the smartphone costs around $225 (Rs 18,990 in India) approximately.
