In early September 2024, HMD launched its new budget-tier 5G smartphone, the HMD Fusion. This smartphone offers decent specs and features for around $280 (Rs 23,499 in India). The 5G smartphone is powered by a 4nm Qualcomm SM4450 Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset clocked at 2×2.2 GHz for your regular daily tasks or gaming. As for the display, the smartphone offers a 6.56-inch IPS LCD panel that supports a 90Hz refresh rate and 480-600 nits brightness. The company also offers an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance while the phone is do-it-yourself capable.
Apart from this, the company offers a variant of 4GB to 8GB RAM and 128GB to 256GB internal storage. Talking about the camera aspects, the HMD Fusion is equipped with a dual-camera setup that includes a 108MP primary camera and a 2MP depth lens. The phone sports an immersive 50MP selfie lens for video calling and selfies. The device is available in Noir colour variants while the phone offers a 5000mAh battery with 33W wired charging support.
