Industry insiders have recently revealed interesting details about Qualcomm’s upcoming smartphone application processors, codenamed SM7675 and SM8635, which are expected to join the esteemed Snapdragon 7 and Snapdragon 8 series lineup.

The SM8635, temporarily called Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, features a cutting-edge CPU architecture with one 3.01 GHz Cortex-X4 core, four 2.61 GHz Cortex-A720 cores, and three 1.84 GHz Cortex-A520 cores. GHz, complemented by an Adreno 735 GPU.

In parallel, the SM7675, which is expected to target the mid-range segment, shares a similar core architecture with the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 and the SM8635. The Cortex-X4 cores are clocked at 2.8 GHz, along with the A720 and A520 cores, along with an Adreno 732 GPU. Current tests indicate promising performance with frequencies of 2.8 GHz for the CPU and 8xx MHz for the GPU, subject to possible adjustments during mass production.

Adding to the anticipation, a mysterious Realme phone with model number RMX3851 and SM8635 processor has appeared on Geekbench. Surprisingly, the device managed a single-core score of 1638 and a multi-core score of 3991, hinting at the prowess of Qualcomm’s latest chipset.

While Qualcomm is yet to officially reveal details about the SM8635 and SM7675 processors, enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting more updates and specifications from the tech giant.
