The Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 is the new foldable smartphone announced in July 2024 with a price tag of $1,241 (Rs 1,03,999 in India) approximately. The performance aspect is handled through the 4nm Qualcomm SM8650-AB Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset which is considered to be a great choice as a flagship hardware. On the other hand, users get the HyperOS user interface based on the Android 14 operating system. Apart from this, users get a spacious storage of 256GB to 1TB UFS 4.0 with a RAM configuration of 12GB to 16GB.
The Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 smartphone has a dual display, the foldable screen is a 7.98-inch LTPO AMOLED while the cover display is a 6.56-inch LTPO AMOLED display. Both displays support a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, 1700-3000 nits peak brightness, and Dolby Vision support. The cover display has scratch- and drop-resistant glass, while the foldable phone has IPX8 water resistance.
The Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 has been launched as a premium camera phone as it offers a 50MP main sensor, which brings OIS support and improves the overall image quality. At the same time, it is among some of the phones that offer a 50MP telephoto lens. Through this sensor, you can increase the zoom capability up to 2x and at the same time, the device has a 10MP periscope telephoto lens that some have 5x optical zoom capability. Last but not the least, the device also offers a 12MP ultra-wide lens that grants fabulous panorama and marco photo shoots.
Apart from this, the device also offers 8K video recording at up to 24fps. In terms of color options, you can choose from Black, White, and Blue colors. The main attraction of this phone is its camera, performance, charging power, and two-way satellite communication.
