ZTE Libero Flip launched with vertical folding screen technology

ZTE has introduced its latest innovation in mobile technology with the launch in Japan of the ZTE Libero Flip, a phone with a vertical folding screen. Priced at ¥63,000 (approximately 420 USD), the device will hit stores on February 29. Anticipation is high as it is expected to be the Nubia Flip, which is scheduled to launch in China.
The standout feature of the device is its display configuration. It features a 6.9-inch internal display with a resolution of 2790 × 1188, complemented by a 1.43-inch circular 466 × 466 external display. This external display supports various functions such as taking selfies, recording audio, check step count, weather updates and music control.
In the camera department, the ZTE Libero Flip is equipped with a 50MP main camera along with a 2MP depth of field lens at the rear, while the front camera is 16MP. In particular, the front camera supports scrolling to take photos and offers additional functions.
The device packs a 4,310 mAh battery with support for 33W QC4+/PD3.0 fast charging, allowing for a full charge in about 73 minutes. It also features side fingerprint recognition and facial recognition for added security, along with connectivity options like Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and FeliCa-compatible NFC.
The ZTE Libero Flip is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen1 processor and comes with a single storage configuration option of 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. With its innovative design and impressive features, the ZTE Libero Flip is ready to make a splash in the mobile market, offering users a unique and versatile smartphone experience at the lowest price.
