Recently, in May 2024, Vivo company launched its new budget 4G smartphones known as Vivo Y18 and Vivo Y18e. Both smartphones have approximately the same specifications and features. The smartphone comes with a 6.56-inch IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and 840 nits brightness rating. The smartphone runs on Android 14 operating system with Funtouch 14 UI and is powered by a 12nm Mediatek Helio G85 chipset. The Vivo Y18 smartphone costs around $107 (Rs 8,999 in India) approximately.
The device is equipped with a 5000 mAh Li-Ion battery with 15W wired charging and is available in Space Black and Gem Green color variants. The difference between Vivo Y18 and Y18e is the RAM, camera and fingerprint scanner. The Vivo Y18 smartphone offers a single 50MP main camera, while the Vivo Y18e has a 13MP main lens. Also on the Vivo Y18 smartphone, you get an 8MP selfie lens and on the Vivo Y18e you get a 5MP selfie lens. The Vivo Y18e smartphone does not support any fingerprint scanner, but the Vivo Y18 company offers a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Apart from this, the Vivo Y18e offers 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, while the Vivo Y18 smartphone also has 128 GB of storage.
