Recently in August 2024, Infinix company launched its new Zero 40 phone in both 4G and 5G variants. The Zero 40 5G smartphone is powered by Mediatek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate 5G chipset that is capable of reaching 1×3.1 GHz clock speeds. On the other hand, the Zero 40 4G features Mediatek Helio G100 4G chipset that is capable of reaching 2×2.2 GHz clock speeds. Both the smartphones come preloaded with Android 14 with XOS 14.5 one UI for better customization support.
Both the 4G and 5G variants have an IP54 rating for splash and dust protection, and Gorilla Glass 5 for screen protection. Talking about the display, both the Infinix Zero 40 4G and 5G feature the same 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 1B colors and 1300 nits brightness. The 5G variant has support for a 144Hz refresh rate, while the 4G phone has a 120Hz refresh rate. The 5G variants are available in Rock Black, Violet Garden, and Moving Titanium color options, while the 4G variants are available in Misty Aqua, Rock Black, and Blossom Glow. Coming to the camera plate, the smartphones sport triple rear cameras with a 108MP primary camera and a 50MP immersive selfie lens.
Both the smartphones can be purchased based on RAM and storage options with up to 256GB and 512GB of internal storage. The 5G phone has support for 12GB of RAM and the 4G phone has 8GB of RAM. Both variants pack a 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging and 10W reverse wired charging while the 5G phone has support for 20W wireless charging. The Infinix Zero 40 4G is available for a starting price of $238 (Rs 19,999 in India) approximately while the 5G variant is available starting at $286 (Rs 23,999 in India) approximately.
