Design and exhibition
The Realme Narzo 70 Turbo looks similar to other Realme smartphones like the Realme 13+ or the Realme P1. Even the round camera module looks similar, but that doesn’t mean the design is bad, not at all. It’s just that this design language is too common and it’s hard to differentiate this phone from other Realme smartphones. They all look the same. A new design would have been appreciated, but it is what it is.
The build quality is solid though, as the entire body is made of plastic. It might not feel very premium in the hand, but it won’t bend or creak under pressure. It is available in Turbo Yellow, Turbo Green, and Turbo Purple colours. The Turbo Yellow colour has black stripes on the two sides, giving it a race car-like appearance that looks cool. The smartphone is also protected by IP65 water and dust resistance.
On the front, there is a 6.67-inch OLED display with support for a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The panel supports HDR, which will drastically improve the viewing experience of the phone. The display can also reach a brightness of up to 2,000 nits under direct sunlight, so viewing the smartphone outdoors won’t be a problem. However, there is no protection for the display.
Memory and internal
The Realme Narzo 70 Turbo is equipped with the Mediatek Dimensity 7300 Energy 5G chipset, which is clocked at up to 4×2.5 GHz. This chipset is quite powerful and can easily handle everything you do on your smartphone. It is a mid-range champ for multitaskers who prefer to do everything on their smartphones.
Even in gaming, the Mali-G615 MC2 can easily run games like Genshin Impact, Summoners War, Black Desert Mobile, CODm, and PUBG at high graphics options without draining too much battery. The Realme Narzo 70 Turbo comes with Android 14 with Realme UI 5.0, which brings plenty of customization options. The chipset also has support for 5G connectivity, so you can enjoy gigabit download speeds and low latency in online gaming. As far as memory and storage is concerned, the phone is available for purchase in up to 6GB/ 8GB/ 12GB of RAM and 128GB/ 256GB of storage.
Camera
The Realme Narzo 70 Turbo features a 50MP dual rear camera system. The 50MP primary sensor can capture more light than usual, so photos from this sensor have more details with saturated colors and a high dynamic range. This phone also has a night mode, which is pretty decent, thanks to the optimizations implemented by the company. However, the secondary camera is useless and is there just for show.
On the front of the display, you’ll find a selfie camera with a 16MP sensor, which is also impressive and can capture great selfies with even skin tones. As far as video recording is concerned, the Realme Narzo 70 Turbo can record up to 4K at 30 FPS from the main rear camera, but the selfie camera tops out at 1080p at 30 FPS. Additionally, the rear camera has support for gyro-EIS, which will let you record videos with extreme stability, but the same can’t be said for the selfie camera.
Battery and others
The Realme Narzo 70 Turbo has a 5000mAh battery that can last between 1-2 days with moderate usage, including social media, texting, calling, and some photography. However, if you are a heavy user or play a lot of games, the smartphone will lose battery quite quickly and may not last a full day.
However, you will be happy to know that the smartphone has support for 45W wired fast charging, which can charge the battery from 0 to 50% in just 30 minutes. Apart from that, the smartphone has an under-display fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC for contactless payments, stereo speakers, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging. The price of the smartphone starts at $202 (Rs 16,999 in India) approximately.

Conclusion
The Realme Narzo 70 Turbo offers everything a premium mid-range phone should offer and more. For starters, it has an amazing display with an excellent contrast ratio and a high refresh rate. You will have an amazing viewing experience on this display. The phone also has an excellent mid-range chipset and will run most games with high graphical fidelity.
Its camera performance is equally impressive for the price, and so is its battery life. In addition to these things, the Realme Narzo 70 Turbo also has 5G connectivity, which is like the cherry on the cake. If you take into account all its features and performance, the price is justified. Most smartphone launches in this segment have 2-3-year-old chipsets that are not equipped to handle the demands of modern gaming, but the launch of the Realme Narzon 70 Turbo changes that completely.
It has been a huge hit in the mid-range and at a fantastic price too. The only alternative smartphone to this would be the Vivo iQOO Z9 which offers more or less a similar set of features but at a slightly higher price. However, the final decision is up to you, so it is better to choose a smartphone based on your requirements and needs.
