Doogee introduced its new Doogee V40 Pro in October 2024, which is expected to create a bridge between a community of rugged phones and performance enthusiasts. A 6.78-inch FHD+ LCD IPS resolution panel front display with 120Hz refresh rate houses Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Like most Doogee phones, it offers IP68 and IP69K water and dust resistance, MIL-STD-810H compliance, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. A secondary 1.47-inch display appears on the rear panel near the camera module.
The phone features the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset based on the 4nm architecture. It has an octa-core processor that can reach a stealth speed of 2.5 GHz with the Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. The software interface comes with Android 14 operating system out of the box and various customization attributes. In terms of storage and RAM, the phone supports 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage capacity with a dedicated MicroSD card slot.
An impressive quad camera setup of 200MP main, 8MP telephoto, 20MP night vision and 8MP ultra-wide angle appears on the main camera island with a 32MP selfie camera on the front. The phone offers up to 4K at 30fps with gyro-EIS videos with the main camera island and 1080p videos with a selfie lens. Additionally, the phone provides 33W wired and reverse charging for a massive 8680mAh battery. In terms of price, the Doogee V40 Pro can be purchased for $499 (Rs. 41,999 in India) in Blue and Silver paints.
