Design and display
The design of the Infinix Zero Flip is fantastic with a glass and metal sandwich design, which not only looks premium but also feels great in the hand. This foldable phone folds vertically in half, making it more compact and easier to carry in pockets. It can be unfolded to return to the traditional phone form factor.
The bottom half of the back is made of glass, while the top half consists of the cover screen which you can use to interact with the phone when it is folded. The side frame and folding hinge are made of aluminum. Overall, the phone is well designed and pretty solid, but it has no protection against dust or water.
The Infinix Zero Flip is available in Rock Black and Blossom Glow colors. As for the displays, there is a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED display for the main folding display and a 3.64-inch AMOLED display for the cover display. Both displays support up to 120Hz refresh rate for smoother operation and can also get decent brightness when using the phone outdoors. The quality of both displays is quite good and features accurate colors, so viewing content on the screen will be a pleasure. Additionally, the cover screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Memory and internal
The Infinix Zero Flip features the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 5G chipset, which is capable of reaching a clock speed of 4×2.6 GHz. It has the raw performance to run all modern apps and games smoothly, including Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, Messenger and more.
Speaking of gaming, the Mali-G77 MC9 GPU can comfortably run games like Summoners War, PUBG Mobile, and CODm with high graphical fidelity. The Infinix Zero Flip supports 5G connectivity, so enjoy gigabit-level download speeds and low latency during multiplayer gaming sessions.
When it comes to RAM and storage, this foldable smartphone is available in 8GB+256GB RAM and storage and 8GB+512GB RAM and storage. As far as the operating system is concerned, Infinix Zero Flip runs on Android 14 with an XOS 14.5 UI for better customization support. Infinix also promised two years of Android updates.
Camera
The Infinix Zero Flip is equipped with a 50MP dual rear camera system. The main rear camera with 50MP sensor captures excellent photos with high dynamic range, natural colors and fantastic levels of detail. The image quality certainly exceeded our expectations, but it’s still not comparable to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 or other Samsung phones. However, this is completely acceptable considering the price of the Infinix Zero Flip.
The secondary ultra-wide-angle camera with 50 MP sensor also captures some impressive photos with a wider field of view than the main camera, but with little to no difference in image quality or colors. On the front there is a selfie camera, which also consists of a 50MP sensor. It can take great selfies with a good amount of detail and natural colors.
Even the skin tone is captured correctly with the selfie camera and looks pretty perfect. As for video recording, the Infinix Zero Flip can record at a maximum of 4K@30FPS from the rear cameras, while the selfie cameras can reach up to 4K@60FPS. The rear camera also supports OIS for better video stability when recording.
Battery and others
The Infinix Zero Flip has a 4720 mAh non-removable battery, so it can easily offer 1-2 days of battery life with lighter usage. This level of battery life is entirely possible if your use includes a camera, social media, texting, and the like. However, if you play a lot of games, the battery will drain faster and may not even last a full day.
As for charging, this smartphone supports 70W wired fast charger, which can fully charge the smartphone in less than 30 minutes. Apart from that, the phone also has Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, NFC, GPS, stereo speakers, and a USB Type-C port for charging. The Infinix Zero Flip price starts at $608 (Rs 50,990 in India) approximately.

Conclusion
The Infinix Zero Flip is a decent foldable phone considering its price. Infinix’s goal was to bring a decent foldable phone to the masses at a budget price as all other foldable phones were launched at higher prices. Infinix knew how difficult it would be to sell an expensive foldable phone in markets like Asia, Africa, Latin America and others, so the company decided to play to its strength, which is offering a device with good value for money.
For the price you pay, you get a premium experience in all aspects of the phone, be it the design, display, processor, camera, battery or even charging. It doesn’t have the flagship chipset, but it does have a quality chipset and components, and you won’t find anything major to complain about. Most users will be satisfied with this foldable phone. It even has 5G connectivity.
Considering everything it has to offer, the price is quite decent and makes it easier for people to purchase this foldable phone. The closest alternative phone to this would be the Motorola Razr 50 ultra, but it is priced higher without offering a substantial improvement over the Infinix Zero Flip. There are improvements in some areas but setbacks in others. However, the final decision is up to you, so it is better to choose a smartphone based on your requirements and needs.
