The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra was launched in June 2025 and is also known as Motorola Razr+ 2024 in North America; Motorola Razr 5, Motorola Razr Gen 5. The chipset powering the new Razr 50 Ultra is the 4nm Qualcomm SM8635 Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, which can clock up to 1×3.0 GHz. The new foldable smartphone also comes with the latest Android 14 OS out-of-the-box and the phone supports 5G connectivity. The device comes with 8GB/12GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage.
It has two displays, a main display of a 6.9-inch foldable LTPO AMOLED panel and another second external display of a 4-inch LTPO AMOLED panel is also present. Both the displays support a 165Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, 1B colors, and Dolby Vision. As far as brightness is concerned, the main display has 3000 nits and the cover display has 2400 nits. Furthermore, the cover display has a Gorilla Glass Victus protection. In addition to this, you can choose this phone from four fabulous shade options which include Spring Green (Dill), Midnight Blue (Navy Blazer), Peach Fuzz, and Hot Pink colors. The smartphone costs around $1080 (Rs 89,990 in India) approximately.
The smartphone sports dual cameras on the back, a 50MP primary camera and a 50MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. As far as video recording is concerned, the smartphone can record up to 4K videos with HDR10+ and gyro-EIS support. Following this, there is also a 32MP selfie lens that records videos at a maximum of 4K. Everything seems to be fine on this phone, but the company did cut some corners in the battery area. As far as battery life is concerned, the foldable smartphone offers a 4,000mAh battery that is powered via 45W fast charging, while it also supports 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse wired charging.
