In late July 2024, the Nothing company launched a 5G smartphone known as the Nothing Phone (2a). On the front, you get a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that can reach up to 1300 nits of peak brightness under direct sunlight. The display also supports up to 1 billion colors, a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and a brightness of 700-1300 nits. The device is powered by a 4nm Mediatek Dimensity 7350 Pro SoC which can clock up to 2×3.0 GHz. As for the software, the smartphone runs on Android 14 operating system with Nothing OS 2.6 user interface for better customization. The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus sports a 50MP dual rear camera system with a 50MP sensor as the primary camera and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. At the front, you get an immersive 50MP selfie camera. As for video recording, the phone can record a maximum of 4K videos at 30 FPS from both the rear camera and the selfie camera while the primary camera has gyro-EIS support.
