Design and display
Although the Oukitel WP35 is a rugged smartphone, it features a very attractive design, especially the diamond-shaped pattern on the rear panel. The body of the phone is built with durable materials and can withstand any harsh conditions with ease. It went through multiple rigorous physical tests and passed them with flying colors and obtained MIL-STD-810H certification.
The smartphone is also protected against dust and water with IP68/69K certifications, so don’t worry in case you accidentally drop it in a fish tank or pool. As for the display, it has a 6.6-inch IPS display with FHD+ resolution. It can also reach a brightness level of up to 450 nits, which would be useful when using the phone outdoors. This screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Memory and internal
The Oukitel WP35 has the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 5G chipset. This chipset is capable of clock speeds of up to 2×2.2 GHz, which is not much, but considering the price, it is acceptable. It has enough performance to run all your favorite apps and games decently, including Facebook, WhatsApp, Snapchat, and more.
This performance is not just for applications and games can also take advantage of this chipset equally. The chipset has the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, which can run games like PUBG mobile, Summoners War, and even CODm with smoother frame rates.
The chipset also supports 5G connectivity, so expect gigabit speeds and low latency. As far as software is concerned, the Oukitel WP35 runs on Android 14 with a stock UI, which offers a much better user experience. In terms of RAM and storage, the smartphone has 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
Camera
The Oukitel WP35 comes with a 64MP dual rear camera system. The main camera with a 64MP sensor manages to capture some decent shots with a good level of detail and accurate color tone, better than other smartphones in the same price range.
Then there is the 8MP night vision camera, which is equipped with infrared lights that illuminate the scene and help the camera take decent pictures in completely dark environments. On the front of the Oukitel WP35, there is a 32MP sensor that can take good selfies with higher levels of detail.
As for video recording, the Oukitel WP35 can shoot at a maximum resolution of 1440p@30FPS from the rear camera and 1080@30FPS from the selfie camera.
Battery and others
The Oukitel WP35 has a high-capacity 11000 mAh battery. This is a high capacity battery that can offer great battery life that lasts for 4 to 6 days easily. That’s almost a week on a single charge. This is the kind of battery life that rugged phones are known for and the Oukitel WP35 delivers A+ results on that.
It can provide even more battery life depending on your smartphone usage. With lighter use, it will definitely last longer and you won’t get this kind of battery life on regular smartphones. Also, if you play a lot of games, the battery won’t last as long, but that’s to be expected considering how much resources they consume.
The smartphone supports 18W wired fast charging, which is extremely low considering the massive battery size. You will have to charge your smartphone for hours to get a full charge. Apart from that, the phone also has Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone is currently available for purchase for just $167 (Rs 13,990 in India), approximately.

Conclusion
The Oukitel WP35 smartphone is a rugged smartphone that is clearly designed for users on a budget but still manages to add its name to popular mid-range smartphones. It has decent performance, a great screen, good cameras and a fantastic battery and they are the highlights of the smartphone. It even has 5G connectivity, which should offer faster speeds.
So considering everything the smartphone offers, the price seems decent. Its only drawback is the lack of super fast charging but considering the price of the smartphone, it is acceptable. The closest alternative to this smartphone would be the Xiaomi Redmi 12, which offers better specifications and is available at a better price, but you miss out on the big battery of this Oukitel smartphone. However, the final decision is up to you, so it is better to choose a smartphone based on your requirements and needs.
