Samsung has officially launched its highly anticipated Galaxy S24 series, with the Exynos 2400 processor taking center stage in Europe and select markets. Although details have remained a mystery since its announcement in October, the processor’s specifications have finally been revealed.

At the heart of the Exynos 2400 is a robust 10-core architecture. This includes a high-performance Cortex-X4 core clocked at an impressive 3.2 GHz, complemented by two 2.9 GHz Cortex-A720 cores, three 2.6 GHz Cortex-A720 cores and four power-efficient Cortex-A520 cores. in energy at 1.95 GHz.

Graphics-wise, the Exynos 2400 features the Xclipse 940, based on AMD’s RDNA3 architecture. This promises significant improvements in ray tracing, rendering and mobile reflections, providing a more immersive and realistic visual experience.

Manufactured using a state-of-the-art 4nm LPP+ process by Samsung Semiconductor, the cores of the Exynos 2400 are built on the ARMv9 architecture. The processor also features a new ISP image processor, ensuring advanced image processing capabilities. It supports LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage for efficient multitasking and faster data access.

Samsung is proud to have increased CPU performance by 1.7x and AI processing power by 14.7x compared to its predecessor, the Exynos 2200, from two years ago.
